Protech Systems installs radio links in 1.4Ghz, 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz versions depending on it's purpose, which are approved for licensing free in the UK.

Using RDT Radio Modems video transmission and control of telemetry are achieved. As WIFI is being used more frequently now on sites using 2.4Ghz, we recommend using the 5.6Ghz range of transmission especially on marinas.

The RDT 5.6GHz VideoWave Digital transmission system is based on the 802.11a WLAN technology, it is especially adapted for transmitting video and telemetry in the 5.5GHz to 5.7GHz license free band.
